CYM Rocks QCPU!!!

"Praise God!" This will be your comment when you see those students enjoy God's presence in the QCPU Multi-Purpose Hall last December 12, 2008. Led by the leadership of CYM Officers, through His guidance, the concert went well and was indeed declared as another victory for His Kingdom.

With the full support of all CYM members, our adviser, the QCPU faculty and administration along with the CYM alumni members, everything went according to God's plan. Though we cannot acknowledge every person's name here in this thread, God's knows every spiritual warrior inside of each student-leaders who participated.

Being God's instruments, Sir Aguilar and Ma'am Reyes went well as spiritual guides and harvest organizers throughout the activity. And as for the fire went on, this ain't the end of any school activity but a start of a new beginning, keeping the flame alive within the hearts of every believer and every soul who sought that worshipping God comes with great fun and excitement.

Film Showing Pix

Alas! I have finally posted these pictures here in this blog. Anyway, care to check all the pictures Conch gave me (wala kasi me dun tsk tsk tsk). You might notice that the venue doesn't have a QCPU Classroom-look as the activity took place at Kuya Reg'z church located just beside the school.

And nope, it's not the last full show 'coz the activity started after classes ends. And no it's not a star-studded one, who you are seeing is no celebrity, it's just Jerish (hehe).

Let's look forward that there would be more film showings in the future school years. Instead of viewing sense-less worldly movies, why not spend time with your friends and see a good movie that would teach you something more sensible. 'Til the next thread guys!

Hello Sandy!!!

Yeah, it was a restday for me that Saturday the 13th. I had my day started with me and Conch going to Sandy's place at Bagong Silang, Caloocan City. As we went there, all we see was a blessing. A soon-to-be-mom with a very assuring smile having a soon-to-be-bouncing-little-baby girl with her. Yup, it's Sandy! Have you seen her lately? If not, be there on her baby's christening so that you can become her baby's Ninong or Ninang ^_^

From Sandy's place, we went to Kuya Anthony's workplace in SM Fairview (oo, sa Ace nga!). Check out the pictures so that you would know where you can find him when you try to make a surprise visit (lahat ng tao dun naka-gel ang hair). We waited the end of his duty. Why? It's because Kuya Anthony owe us a burger since he just had his birthday (burger! burger!). Fortunately, the burger turned-out to be an Overload Pizza (Hehe) Well, Kuya Rudy just came late but still it was nice seeing him. (Sayang Kuya Rudy)

That day was one stress-buster as Conch would say. Hmm...yeah, I enjoyed it well also. See you in the next thread guys! GB!

Kami ang Tear Here Cymers!

This is actually a late post as this happened in the last gathering for the month of August. They actually finished early that we alumni wasn't able to at least join them in the closing prayer (hehe). But anyways, there was still a bit of the bonding thingy at Seven Eleven with most of the officers cheering (Burger! Burger!) but actually ended with a hotdog sandwich (hahaha). Check the Pix and see who's the Tear Here champion. You can grab them at our Friendster site. See yah guys! GB!

Leaders for the Harvest

It was one good Gathering as it was led by our School mentors. Outgoing adviser Ma'am Reyes has endorsed her position to Sir Aguilar (See pics) and also with the leading of the newly-elected CYM Officers headed by Kuya Regz as the president. Well, I was actually a bit late when I came. Oftentimes, having a hard time going IN the school. I just hope that someday they can just allow students and even us (Alumni members) to just attend CYM gatherings. Going back, as it was mentioned to me by Ma'am Reyes, core groups have already started and knowing this is very exciting since there will be lots of students who will now be able to attend gatherings if they are not free on Fridays. To God be all the glory that we have this oppurtunity to be a part of the harvest for our school. So for the new leaders, keep on the firing line and onward! See you in the next thread! GB!

Aaron, Conch, Anthony and Me

Here we are again! Just finished attending the Gathering. New face for this thread is Aaron Diaz. Part of the CYM 3rd and 4th Batch along with Conch. He works in QC Hall as those persons behind glass walls with holes (yung para bang cashier pero hindi naman, hehe) Stop over lang sa Seven Eleven, trying those new soda water (Yung isa yuck ung lasa). Donut courtesy of Mr. Civil Registry. Anyway, Conch just shared some of her stories, while me and Anthony just listened. We just heard that there will be a lot of challenges with regards to the security of the school concerning outsiders. Technically, we are not outsiders but Alumni members of the school. Hmmm, I think there is some misunderstanding here. Anyways, God will always make a way! See you in the next thread guys. Treat ni Conch sa susunod, GB!

From the inside out (Acoustic) - Hillsongs
A thousand times I've failed
Still your mercy remains
And should I stumble again
Still I'm caught in your grace

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Your will above all else, my purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Chorus 2x
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
From the inside out Lord, my soul cries out

Gathering with our Adviser

It was a blessing hearing from our adviser on July 11 in the last Friday CYM Gathering in QCPU. Everyone is so pumped-up that we all worshipped God joyfully. Along with the program of the gathering was an activity headed by Ate Arlene (the chinky-eyed girl in the picture below, beside K'Anthony) which is about the 'Precious things that you can give-up for God' and beautiful songs that helped invite the presence of God lead by Ate Yra. Moreover, Ma'am Reyes' message is about being actively aware of the Great Harvest that is going to happen in our school. And with God's leading, plans of core groupings will be initiated right after the organization's papers is submitted. After the gathering, Kuya Anthony and me had a little 'snack' with the student leaders (nakakagutom daw ung gathering, hehe)at Seven-Eleven and just went on for some 'chit-chats' about the past (just being nostalgic!). By the way, we finally know who is Edz (dati ka-text ko lang yan eh). Next time, you can be a part of the gathering and see yourself here. And sya nga pala, dumating din si Kuya Ronnie (ung guy na mukhang makulit sa picture, hehe). He played the guitar for the worship part. Ijust hope in the future we'll do lots of postings here. Thanks nga pala kay Kuya Anthony for the snacks. See you in the next thread...GB!!
